Climate Exchange: Green Technology & Innovation
This exchange includes (15) government officials and innovators who are dedicated to making changes to improve our environment from the United Kingdom, who are invited to the United States under the auspices of the Department of State’s International Visitor Leadership Program.
Their program is arranged by the Mississippi Consortium for International Development and Citizen Diplomacy International of Philadelphia. During their exchange, we are hoping to connect them to Philadelphians who would like to discuss how all sectors of the economy can work to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, accelerate clean energy production and deployment, and create good-paying jobs that strengthen the economy, the UK’s hosting of the COP26 Summit in Scotland in 2021 and contribute to Biden Administration’s Summit for Democracy’s wider objectives of demonstrating the value of democracies working together to tackle the world’s most pressing challenges.
