Spotlight on Tel Aviv at the Free Library of Philadelphia

For the second year, the Building Bridges with Books program of the Free Library of Philadelphia partnered with Citizen Diplomacy to develop a series of interactive storytime workshops for some of our youngest citizens sharing the stories, culture and arts of Sister City Tel Aviv, Israel. During four spring workshops held at Queen Memorial Library and Rodriguez Library, volunteers from the Jewish Federation of Philadelphia read classic Israeli children’s stories, led craft activities and puppet shows and engaged students in conversations about understanding other cultures and people.
